Closing the STUDY ABROAD MALAYSIA series of activities last May, the D III Study Program in Tax Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University, consisting of 19 students consisting of the 2020-2022 class, 6 lecturers, and 1 educational staff visited the Beryls factory in Selangor , Malaysia.

The visit began with an opening video from Beryls which tells the story of the beginning of the establishment of the Beryls factory in Malaysia. After the video was shown, all participants were invited to go around to get to know and learn about the process of making chocolate from cocoa pods. In addition, students can also directly learn how to apply the costing process from the largest chocolate industry in Malaysia. At the end of the event, all participants had the opportunity to taste Beryls’ chocolate as well as shop for superior products from Beryls.

Through this activity it is hoped that all participants, especially students, can gain experience as well as insight and be able to compare the knowledge they have learned while studying with direct practice in the industry.
