Accounting Technician Competency Test Site

BACKGROUND

In an effort to improve the competence and competitiveness of the workforce, the functions of the Professional Training Institute (LDP) and the Professional Certification Agency (LSP) must synergize. Feb Usakti Tax Accounting DIII program is the first private university in DKI Jakarta Province as a Competency Test Site (TUK) that has obtained a license from the Accounting Technician Profession Certification Agency (LSP-TA). The license is given as a place to conduct the certification test of the competence of Accounting Technicians both Level III (Managing Accounting Technician) and Level IV (Supervisory Accounting Technician) based on the decree of LSP-TA No. 005 / KEP / LSP-TA / IAI KAPd / II / 2009 which was extended by Decree No. 73 / LSP-TA / TUK-M / VIII / 2018.

Law No.13 of 2003 on Manpower in Indonesia states that every Indonesian workforce must have competence in accordance with the profession indicated by a certificate of competence. Likewise, in Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System in article 61 states that learners have two certificates, namely diplomas and certificates of competence. Diplomas are issued by educational institutions while certificates of competence are issued by Professional Certification Bodies (LSP) that have been licensed by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). BNSP is the only institution that coordinates various LSPs as an extension of BNSP in the competencytest process. The establishment of BNSP is regulated by Government Regulation No. 23 of 2004 concerning the establishment of the National Agency for Professional Certification (BNSP).
