The Diploma III in Tax Accounting Program was established in 1991 as a study program under the Faculty of Economics, which since 2015 has been renamed the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti. It was founded with the status of “Registered” based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 0653/O/1991, dated December 17, 1991.
The program was established with the objective of preparing graduates to become job-ready and skilled professionals with expertise in Accounting and Taxation. To support this goal, the curriculum of the Diploma III in Tax Accounting Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti, is designed with a composition of 60% practical/application and 40% theoretical content. In 2003, the program received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia, with a “B” rating, based on Decree No. 009/BAN-PT/Ak-III/Dpl-III/VII/2003 dated July 18, 2003. In 2008, the program maintained its “B” accreditation rating from BAN-PT, Ministry of National Education, according to Decree No. 021/BAN-PT/Ak-VIII/Dpl-III/XI/2008 dated November 13, 2008. In 2014, the program again retained its “B” accreditation from BAN-PT, Ministry of Education and Culture, through Decree No. 081/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dpl-III/III/2014 dated March 22, 2014. In 2019, the Diploma III in Tax Accounting Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti, achieved an “A” accreditation rating from BAN-PT, Ministry of Education and Culture, as stated in Decree No. 203/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dpl-III/II/2019 dated February 26, 2019. Drs. Nono Sulaksono, MSc (1991 – 1996)
- Establishment of the Diploma III in Tax Accounting Program.
- Obtained Registered Status based on Minister of Education and Culture Decree No. 0653/O/1991.
Drs. Lutfi Baradja, Ak., MBA (1996 – 1999)
- Curriculum revision referring to the National Curriculum of 1995.
- Development of course unit plans (SAP) for all subjects.
- Organizational and faculty improvements.
Drs. Bachtiar Agus Djaja, MSi (1999 – 2002)
- Status upgraded to “Recognized” based on Directorate General of Higher Education Decree No. 16/DIKTI/Kep/2000.
- Classrooms relocated from Building I, 1st Floor to Building K, 3rd Floor.
- Addition of three supporting staff.
Dra. Hj. Susi Dwimulyani, Ak., MM (2002 – 2008)
- Secretariat office relocated from Building S, 2nd Floor to Building K, 3rd Floor starting April 1, 2002.
- Renewal of cooperation agreement between Universitas Trisakti (Diploma III in Tax Accounting Program) and the Directorate General of Taxes on November 25, 2002.
- Received a “B” accreditation rating from BAN-PT (Decree No. 009/BAN-PT/Ak-III/Dpl-III/VII/2003).
- Development of computer laboratories and multimedia classrooms.
Abubakar Arif, SE, MM (2008 – 2020)
- Maintained “B” accreditation based on Decree No. 021/BAN-PT/Ak-VIII/Dpl-III/XI/2008 and Decree No. 081/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dpl-III/III/2014.
- Achieved “A” accreditation based on Decree No. 203/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dpl-III/II/2019.
- Expanded classrooms in Building K, 3rd Floor, and Building I, 3rd Floor.
- Upgraded computer laboratory in Building K, 3rd Floor.
- Purchased an ELF minibus for operational and promotional activities.
- Obtained a license from the Accounting Technician Professional Certification Institute (LSP-TA) as a Competency Test Venue (TUK-TA) per Decree No. 005/KEP/LSP-TA/IAI KAPd/II/2009 (February 24, 2009) and its extension by Decree No. 73/LSP-TA/TUK-M/VIII/2018 (August 6, 2018 – August 6, 2023).
- Awarded Best Competency Test Venue in 2017 by LSP-TA.
- Received SINTA 3 accreditation in November 2019 for the Journal of Information, Taxation, Accounting, and Public Finance (JIPAK).
Dr. R. Rosiyana Dewi, S.E., Ak., M.Si., CA. (2019 – 2024)
- Achieved an “Excellent” accreditation rating based on Decree No. 955/DE/A.5/AR.10/I/2024 issued by LAMEMBA, valid for five (5) years from January 12, 2024, to January 12, 2029.
- Designated as a Competency Test Venue (TUK) by the Accounting Technician Professional Certification Institute (LSP-TA), with an A rating and a verification score of 930, valid until October 19, 2028, under the Scope Expansion (PRL).
- Earned a Science and Technology Index (SINTA) 3 accreditation for the Journal of Information, Taxation, Accounting, and Public Finance (JIPAK) in April 2025.
- Implemented a technology-based and project-based learning curriculum across relevant courses, such as Sustainable Accounting, MSME Internships, ERP Practicum, and the application of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) methods.
- Developed Tax Center services in collaboration with the Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, and the EnforceA Tax Consulting Firm.
- Established international partnerships with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and several universities in Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.
- Earned public trust as a judge in various regional and national-level accounting competitions.
- Provision of IT-based learning facilities by preparing a studio room and smart classrooms, as well as developing the e-TaXakti tax learning software as a collaborative product between lecturers and students, which can be utilized by university students, the general public, and high school/vocational school students.
- Organization of the TAFT (Tax Accounting Festival of Trisakti) from 2019 to 2024 in collaboration with various institutions such as Bank Indonesia, PT Pertamina, PT Angkasa Pura II, Bank Negara Indonesia, MUC Consulting Group, PERKOPPI, and LSP-TA, serving as a platform for joint activities between students and alumni, as well as a venue for accounting and taxation competitions for university and high school/vocational school students from domestic and international partner institutions.
