Selection of Outstanding Students (PILMAPRES) is a student talent and competition event under the auspices of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. This activity aims to appreciate the best higher education people to become agents of change to build a better Indonesia. The participants consisted of students from Academic Universities and Vocational Colleges.

The Regional III DKI Jakarta Presidential Election has gone through several stages, starting with the registration of 69 PTN and PTS students, then continuing through initial selection in the form of a Desk Evaluation to produce 25 outstanding regional level student candidates.

Based on the number of initial registrants, BPTI gave a national level participant quota to the DKI Jakarta Region through LLDikti Region III of 8 people, consisting of 5 Prospective Students with Bachelor’s Achievements and 3 Prospective Students with Diploma Achievements.
