Selection of Outstanding Students (PILMAPRES) is a talent competition and student competition under the auspices of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. This activity aims to appreciate the best Higher Education people to become agents of change to build a better Indonesia. The participants consisted of students from Academic Colleges and Vocational Colleges.

As many as 10 outstanding students from LLDikti Region III have been selected and will compete at the national level. On the night of the Pilmapres award which was held on the same day, namely May 9 2023, 5 people from Academic Colleges and 5 people from Vocational Colleges were selected after an assessment and judging.
