The signing of the FEB Usakti MoU with DDTC
Public Lecture on the Latest Domestic and Global Tax Developments

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University Study Program held an MoU signing with Danny Darussalam Tax Center (DDTC) as well as a General Lecture on the Latest Development of Domestic and Global Taxes. The signing was carried out by the Dean of FEB, Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA., CPMA., with DDTC Founder, Darusallam, SE, Ak, CA, M.Si, LLM Int Tax., Dr. Tri Kunawangsih Purnamaningrum, MSi, as Chair of the FEB Applied Finance Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. R. Rosiyana Dewi, SE, M.Sc, Ak, CA., Head of the D III Taxation Study Program. As well as holding public lectures with speakers B. Bawono Kristiaji, SE, MSE, M.Sc IBT, BKP, ADIT (Director, DDTC Fiscal Research & Advisory), Moderator Charlie, SE, M.Ak, BKP (Permanent Lecturer of FEB Usakti & Practitioners Tax). The activity was held on March 4 2023 in Building S, Campus A, Trisakti University.

The Director, DDTC Fiscal Research & Advisory in his presentation conveyed about Post-pandemic Fiscal Consolidation in the framework of development funding. The pandemic has weakened the performance of tax revenues in various countries, therefore it requires a breakthrough marked by a tax reform agenda and how to encourage taxpayer participation and compliance, with tax education which is a long-term strategy to build a culture of voluntary compliance. Tax education that benefits all parties and is complementary (not replacing other tax compliance programs). Reform is also necessary in touching on tax incentive policies that so far Indonesia is one of the countries that offer various tax incentives to attract investment.
